Planning and Development
When seeking planning permission, local authorities may require the submission of supporting arboricultural information in the form of an arboricultural report. This will be based around the recommendations stated in the British Standard 5837, the National Planning Policy Framework and in local planning policies.

Tree Safety Surveys & Assessments
Landowners and managers have a legal duty of care to ensure trees under their responsibility do not pose an unacceptable risk and are managed appropriately.
RCG Arboriculture can undertake detailed health and safety surveys and provide associated recommendations for any subsequent necessary tree works. Tree conditions surveys and hazard assessments can vary, depending on the needs and requirements of the land owners. Therefore, the type of survey we can provide can include, for example:

recording every tree of all sizes to give accurate accounts of entire tree stocks

negative reporting of large tree populations to only identify those requiring remedial tree surgery works

individual high detailed tree inspections and aerial climbing inspections

Tree Preservation Orders
Tree Preservation Orders (TPOs) and the legislation surrounding them is often miscommunicated or misunderstood.
You may own trees protected by an existing Tree Preservation Order, or have been recently served a new Tree Preservation Order, or you may be considering purchasing property with an existing Tree Preservation Order on the land.
